Aside from possession and switching, you can also get ideas from your headmates on how to do certain things. For instance, if you're working on a drawing your headmates can give you suggestions
Imo the "experience" of switching is what the front experiences, so the fronter can experience a lack of a headmate or a headmate being in the back, but the switched out headmate isn't experiencing those things separately
A long kiss goodnight

hello I just showed up— trying to set up pluralkit and then will do an intro but having a bit of trouble. i've only done it once before on our system server
In a literal sense, no, unless you are touching your body. Otherwise, you can learn to trick your senses into feeling your tulpa via imposition or practice wonderland immersion
If you think they will, they can. If you see them as just intrusive thoughts that don't effect anything however, they will not.
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy you can avoid.
In that case, I'm wondering if it's just a matter of him being susceptible to being confused for intrusive thoughts because he's younger and/or needs more time. Sometimes it's easy to get mixed up every now and then, recognizing the intrusive thoughts and moving on is the best way to go
Hi! I have a question.
How do you guys cope with being unable to touch your tulpa? I don't know if this is a common issue but I bet some people have to deal with this.
That is probably the worst thing you can assume.
Basically you would be letting another tulpa into your system just because "a tulpa behaved weird" which you can just assume its a random intrusive thought.
(Unless you actually want another tulpa...)
